My faith is constantly being tested. It seems that the more I write about having faith, the more I am tested. There have been things that I have prayed about, only to have those prayers not answered, year after year, after year.
But the difference, I think that I have now is, I have ‘hope’ inaddition, to my faith. I know that while it is uncomfortable for me, and NOT my will to wait on the things I am praying for, God has not forgotten about me.
Scripture tells us that “Faith is confidence that the Lord will do what He has promised. It is not simply wishful thinking. It is the absolute conviction that God is not only willing, but also able, to accomplish all He has pledged to us, regardless of how our circumstances may appear or what obstacles may have to be overcome. As the Saints of old learned, your confidence in Him is never in vain, for “He who promised is faithful”(Charles Stanley Bible).
(Hebrew 11:1)- Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Brothers and Sisters God is working on your behalf. Don’t give up on what you are praying about! He hears you.
