When I heard that actress Kim Cattrall, said (no) to returning to the Sex in the City reboot , I thought about her (no) and how good it must have felt to say it.
A lot of times we do things we really don’t want to do, just to make other people happy. I find it very empowering to be able to say (no), especially when it goes against my principles or what my Spirit tells me to do.
Shoot! I’m practicing saying (no) to everybody (lol). Just kidding. No, I’m practicing self- awareness. Being aware of my own emotions and how they align with God’s voice talking to me, as well as, my passions, aspirations and values . No more people pleasing. Those days are over. Taking my power back and letting go of all negative energy.
