Walking in Obedience

Written by Kim Johnson, Founder of I Am My Sister (Women Helping Women) LLC

One thing I have learned is, when God calls us to do something, We should do it immediately. In the long run we are going to do it anyway, Either the hard way or the easy way, lol.

As for me, I don’t like consequences and I don’t want God to give my assignment to someone else, so if I know it’s God talking to me, I’m jumping.

Did God ask you to do something you’re struggling to do? Don’t forget Jonah in the Bible (Jonah 1:1-4).

The good news is we can repent.

God never turns away from a truly repentant heart, even if that heart beats in a man who tried to run away from Him. The Lord often uses affliction, not to punish us but to bring us back to Him (Charles Stanley Bible, p. 1049).
