Today, I find myself reflecting on my journey in life. I am the last remaining member of my immediate family; My mother, my father, and my brother are all gone now. It is a strange and sacred feeling to be the only one still standing.
Though they are no longer here, I carry their memories, their love, and their strength within me. And even as I say goodbye to that part of my family, I am reminded that life continues through my children and those I love. I honor where I come from, and I walk forward with grace and gratitude. 💛
Heavenly Father, thank You for the time I had with my mother, my father, and my brother. Though they have gone on, I am still here. Help me walk in their memory with strength, with love, and with peace in my spirit. Cover my children and all those connected to me. Let the legacy of my family live on through the life that I lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen
my sincerest condolences on your loss. May the Lord be with you
