Knowing God’s voice is sooo…important! Case in point! On vacation I was visiting a family member’s house for a few days and having such a wonderful time that I wanted to stay a few days longer. I asked God if I could stay longer, but I never heard from Him so I decided I would stay. The next morning I was relaxing in the guest room, surfing Facebook and all set to enjoy my day, when all of a sudden I heard God tell me to ‘get up! Get up right now and leave!” I didn’t understand it, but I did as He instructed, and so glad that I did. As I was driving home I was told that the family member had the flu. Had I not listened I would have caught the flu too, which might have been a problem for me since I am immunocompromised.
The Bible tells us “In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he shall direct thy paths.” -Proverbs 3:6
The point is my brothers and sisters, is that it’s important to listen when God is talking to us. Amen!
