Sometimes, when I’m facing things that frighten me I have to hype myself up. I tell myself “you got this gurl, you can do it! Don’t be afraid! Don’t listen to Satan, he wants you to fail and not succeed!”

The thing is, sometimes we have to be our own encourager. When we learn how to encourage our own self, we don’t have to depend on others to do it for us. Shoot! If you watch me closely, you’ll often see me mumbling under my breath in prayer.

Dear God, Give me the strength to endure in times of trouble especially when I am weak. Father walk with me as I go through my day. Father, give me courage when I am afraid, and Mercy when I fall short. Comfort me dear Lord when I make foolish mistakes. And help me to forgive myself for things I have done that were not pleasing to You. Thank You Father, in Jesus Holy Name I Pray. Amen
