The Pastor was talking about this subject a few weeks ago, he said “ we must go from hearing to applying God’s Word to our lives. That’s what I’ve been trying to do too. It’s not easy because my old way of thinking creeps right back in. But I guess it’s like anything else, you have to keep practicing. When you practice something over and over it becomes a habit; and once it’s a habit, you do it with out thinking about it. It’s becomes a part of you.

The Bible tells us, “anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like” (James‬ ‭1:23-24‬‬).

Father, I never want You to think that I will ever forget You. My prayer is to be a better person and to represent You in the best light that I possibly can. Help me Jesus to apply Your Word to my life in all that I do. In Jesus Holy Name I Pray. Amen
