When I came out of the operating room after my cancer surgery I was in extreme pain. No matter what the nurse did for me I was still in agony. In my mind I was calling out to Jesus to help me. I kept say, Jehovah help me, Jesus help me over and over again. No matter how I called God it seemed as if He did not hear me or come. The nurse later told me that I was actually calling God aloud, it wasn’t in my mind.

When I was telling this story to my cousin who is a pastor, she told me God did come, in fact, He came as soon as I called him. She said, “Kim you have no idea what God held back.”

Brothers and Sister’s Scripture tells us, “And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
