Pray, Trust and Wait on the Lord

Written by Minister Kim Johnson, founder of I Am My Sister (Women Helping Women)

Every time I have ever waited on the Lord I was blessed beyond what I could have imagined. And every time I have moved ahead of God’s timing it was a disaster in the long run 🙄.

Brothers and sisters, God hears your prayers. Trust that He is working it out in your favor.

In the Bible it tells us “Do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day” (2 Peter 3:8).

Charles Stanley explains it like this, “God simply does not run this world by our timetable, His view of time is inherently different from ours. What feels like a delay to us is right on schedule by His calendar. He often makes us wait, not to frustrate us, but to deepen our trust in Him.”

Brothers and Sister are you willing to be patient and wait on God for your prayers to be answered?
